K9 Zone is Just three minutes from the Bacchus Marsh train station and walking distance from the growing community of Stone Hill in the Maddingley area.

Our staff see K9 Zone as more than just a job, we love animals and we are all dog lovers. Your dog will receive cuddles and rewards while being groomed, playing or training with us.

how we got started

Hi, I'm Jennifer Elander and I am passionate about caring for your dog.

Having completed my Certificate III in Animal Companionship & Animal Studies, Professional Dog Grooming Certificate and training in Canine Myotherapy, I opened a successful mobile dog grooming business in 2013. In that time I kept getting asked again and again why there were no dog daycare facilities in Bacchus Marsh.

K9 Zone grew from those customers' needs.

I found that many of my clients not only needed me to groom their dog but they also needed extended pet minding. They often used the time their dog was with me to do urgent chores. However, running a busy pet grooming service and retail shop from home meant that I was often lacking the facilities to look after additional dogs when clients were running late.

So with my husband Graham, we developed a quality, purpose-built facility where dogs are looked after, played with, groomed, trained and socialised - K9 Zone!
